# The House of Oud - Cypress Shade  An unmistakably vegetal fragrance that won me over on paper. I perceived in it a note of star anise bringing out a sweet aspect that complements very well the dominant green scent. Curiously and unfortunately, the fragrance performed pretty poorly on my skin; it was too woody for my taste. _With a picture: a nap at the foot of a cypress tree, lulled by the delicate scent of a nearby anise plant._
