# Put your body above your trash can Eating until you are content is different from eating until you are full. Ideally, you want to do the former, as it leads to a healthier lifestyle. If, like me, you have a hard time not overeating, think of it this way: what you do not eat goes into the trash can, and what you eat goes into your body. Since you value your body better than the trash can, why would you ingest food that you do not actually want to eat? All the more so if said food is mostly made of carbs or, worse, of sugar (see [[Learn to differentiate hunger from sugar craving]]).
