- For the next 55 seconds, **get ready for your task** (gather your study materials, change your clothes, get your vacuum cleaner). Just get ready.
- Then, **do the task for just two minutes.**

- Remember: it is not your concentration that is getting in the way, it is the habit of avoiding.
