# Main Mysteries
- Who gave Maria the letter and umbrella?
- Rosa wants to return the umbrella to its owner, but nobody claims to have given it to Maria.
- Interestingly, **Shannon is the one to bring umbrellas to the children** during the evening of October 4th.
- **==I could imagine Shannon disguising as BEATRICE, or simply asking Maria to pretend it is BEATRICE who lent it to her.==**
- What did Rudolf want to say to Battler?
- I suppose ==**it was related to Battler's not being Asumu's son**==.
- Who committed the murders of the first twilight (Krauss, Rudolf, Kyrie, Rosa, Shannon, Gohda)?
- In EP4's Tea Party, BEATRICE says: <span style="color: ff0000">"I guarantee the identities of all unidentified corpses"</span> when referring to the first game.
- About Kanon: "Trying his best to burn the image of the remaining half of Shannon's expression into his eyes, was Kanon."
- MW (post-4g1t): BEATRICE states that the full faces of Gohda, Rosa, Rudolf and Kyrie were smashed, whereas only the sides of Krauss and Shannon were smashed.
- **==Is this important? If BEATRICE guarantees the identities of the corpses, what does this information bring? I'm not sure… Or does it mean that the "identified" corpses that are Shannon and Krauss may be fake?==**
- Who committed the murders of the second twilight (Eva and Hideyoshi)?
- <span style="color: ff0000">Both deaths were homicides. It is not the case that, after the construction of the closed room, one of them committed suicide after committing murder. Furthermore, the murder was carried out with both the victim and the perpetrator in the same room. No method exists for the perpetrator to commit murder from outside the room.</span>
- **==It is actually possible that Kanon or Kumasawa committed the murders after breaking the chain. Nothing says that they were dead before.==**
- Who committed the murder of the 5th twilight (Kanon)?
- **==I actually suspect that Kanon did not die.==**
- Indeed, BEATRICE claims that <span style="color: ff0000">"no kind of human or dead person on the island could have killed Kanon. Kanon did not commit suicide."</span> LAMBDADELTA specifies that <span style="color: ff0000">"Kanon did not die in an accident."</span>
- **Battler did not witness Kanon being pierced by the stake.**
- About Kanon's hearing the sound of the door, it could have been the wind for all we know, or simply a lie.
- Who is the burnt corpse found in the boiler (4th twilight)?
- It is probably really Kinzo's corpse, put there by Kanon, I guess?
- Who placed the letter in the study?
- **==I believe Maria did it==**, probably after Kanon or Shannon asked her to do it at some point, while saying that it was the will of BEATRICE for instance. It would not be out of character, I think.
- Who committed the murders of the 6th to 8th twilights (Nanjo, Genji, Kumasawa)?
- **==Kanon is the only culprit left==**, especially since LAMBDADELTA claims that <span style="color: ff0000">Genji, Kumasawa, and Nanjo are not killers</span>.
- Who committed the murder of the 9th twilight (Natsuhi)?
- **==Again, Kanon.==**
- Who is the witch that appears at the end?
- **==I suppose it is Kanon too==**, but is he disguised? Or did Battler simply lose hope and mistook Kanon for BEATRICE?
- **In EP2, Kanon actually disguises himself during Jessica's Culture Festival… So there are clues for Knox's 10th rule, I suppose…!?**
- Not sure how Battler can hear the laughter of the "witches". But Kanon is a young man so his laughter can sound feminine, I guess…
# Who, How, and Why
- Who: Kanon.
- How: see above.
- Why: I suppose he did it out of love for Jessica? He considers himself furniture and was given the list of victims. Jessica's being spared was enough for him, maybe?
