# Main Mysteries - Who is the BEATRICE who restores Maria's rose? - ==**Again, I suspect Kanon or Shannon…**== - But it could very well be Eva, as it gives her a chance to compete for the succession. - Jessica says: "Most likely, somebody got Shannon or someone to put on the dress from that portrait… and cleverly got Maria to go along with their story. Though, in Maria's case, just seeing the dress would probably convince her that it really was Beatrice." - Who committed the murders of the first twilight (Shannon, Kanon, Kinzo, Genji, Gohda, Kumasawa)? - Apparently the parents had been discussing in the dining hall all night… But **what if they all chose to conspire and kill the servants**? That would explain a lot of things, except the completely unnecessary chain of closed rooms. - What if the servants each locked themselves in a room to protect themselves? That would partially make sense, I guess… And when the adults entered the room one by one, they killed the room's occupant? That would fulfill the first twilight. - When Rosa meets Eva in the hidden staircase, she says: **"No matter how many billion yen worth of gold is on the line, it isn't worth the risk of committing murder."** I don't know what to do of this… - That said, Rosa was not with Rudolf and Eva when they went into the parlor through the window… - And Eva says: "I agree. It may have been a blessing in disguise that you're the one who showed up… **instead of Nii-san or Rudolf**. You're the sibling I trust most." - Perhaps because they chose to kill the servants? - Who committed the murders of the second twilight (Rosa and Maria)? - ==**I'm all in on Eva.**== She did it because she feared Rosa would spill the beans. The cigarette butt that will later be found by Kyrie seems to point towards her leaving the room long enough that Hideyoshi had the time to smoke. - There's also a world where Rudolf or Nanjo is the one to kill them, but I really fail to see why they would do that. - Who committed the murders of the 4th to 6th twilights(Rudolf, Kyrie, Hideyoshi)? - ==**Again, Eva is the easiest culprit.**== - Interestingly, Kyrie mentions her and Asumu's getting pregnant: Asumu gave birth to Battler, and Kyrie had a miscarriage. Later, she got pregnant with Ange. - Could be Nanjo, too. - Who committed the murders of the 7th and 8th twilights (Krauss and Natsuhi)? - Could be either of Eva, Nanjo or George, since Battler was with Jessica. ==**Let's say Eva though.**== - She could have waited for them to fall asleep, or even put something in their coffee to make them sleep. Then she carried them to the arbor and strangled them, or vice versa. - How did George disappear? Who killed him? - EP4 Tea Party: George did not go down the stairs of the guesthouse. All windows and doors leading to the outside were locked from the inside. Furthermore, it is impossible to lock any of those from the outside! - He jumped off a window and Nanjo or Eva locked it again. - They find "07151129" written in red paint on the door to the parlor. - July 15th is Battler's birthday. What if November 29th was Kyrie's or Asumu's expected delivery date? - His committing suicide is the most logical explanation. Eva could also have killed him after killing Krauss and Eva, because he saw her do it, as Jessica suggests. - Who killed Nanjo? - Nanjo's death was a homicide. Of course, it was with a direct method of murder, not a trap. A weapon was readied, and he was killed with it from point-blank range in front of him. The culprit appeared openly before Nanjo's eyes, and as they both looked at each other's faces, the culprit killed him. The one who killed Nanjo was definitely a human. A human, with their feet on the ground, held up a weapon and killed with it! Right before his eyes! - I believe Nanjo committed suicide. A suicide *is* technically a homicide. He went in front of a mirror and killed himself with some weapon. # Who, How, and Why - Who: Eva. - How: see above. - Why: see above. Basically, greed got to Eva's head.
