# We crystallise patterns to conceptualise them
There is information that is either right or wrong, such Paris being the capital of France. But for more abstract concepts, whose definitions are subject to intepretation, using or banning the use of the term which usually describes it makes it *harder* just to think about it. Try talking about "witch hunt" or "[[Apply a reversal test to identify applause lights|Applause lights]]" without using the right term: it becomes much more abstruse. It is important to keep in mind that what we describe in one or two words is actually a complex concept and that it can be used to mislead people, such as talking of a witch hunt
