# A seductive voice is a powerful tool for persuasion

The voice is as important as the eyes in seduction (see [[@themeansofseductionSeduceYourEyes2020|Use your eyes for hypnosis in a seduction context]]). A seductive voice can accompany and amplify the goals of our seductive language. Seducers control two components of their voice: resonance and cadence.
## Resonance
> The richness and depth of a vocalization.
Seducers have intentions behind their words, and the execution of effective speaking relies on the ability for those words to be heard, understood, felt and internalized by the listener. Resonant speakers have an open mouth and a mobile jaw, engage their diaphragm and draw slow breaths. The seducer lets their intentions hang, leaving the listener mulling over whay they just said.
## Cadence
> The rhythm and pacing of one's speech.
A good rhythm advances our cause, and a bad rhythm distracts from our words. Use your inernal metronome to regulate your emotions. Speak *of* your emotions, not *with* your emotions. Speaking quickly conveys nervousness; speaking slowly suggests lack of wit or dishonesty. Befriend silence.
